Bring him back.

Improve depth through the draft, free agency, and Haywood's contract.

I'd draft a player that can play multiple positions.

Athletic, can do other things besides score. That's why I'm pushing for Delon Wright. Doesn't have a crazy wing span but can defend 1-3....rebounds...steals...can play with or without Kyrie as a PG or SG.

Marion is gone. I see Miller and Jones opting in. I love him...but Delly might need them devours.

I've said this a couple of times already but id target Mo Williams in free agency and approach GS about taking the Igoudala contract off their hands.

Roster would look something like this

Irving/Williams/Wright
Smith/Shumpert/Harris
James/Igoudala/Miller
Love/Tristan/Jones
Mozgov/Varejao/Perkins

Would by far be one of the most expensive teams of all time.

I know most of us want Perkins gone. But he does have some value. It just ain't on the basketball court.

Draft Delon Wright then sign his big brother :troll:

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Cleveland would be paying out the ass for that team

Dan Gilbert is one of the few owners in the league who isn't worried about a luxury tax.

He bought the Cavs for $375 million 10 years ago and he was worth only $800 million.

He's worth about $4.7 billion right now and pretty much owns downtown Detroit and Cleveland.

He paid $43 million in luxury taxes after LeBron left just for the chance to draft Kyrie Irving when he traded for Baron Davis.

Here is my reasoning for going after him:

1.) His best years were in Cleveland. He still talks about those times in interviews.

2.) Cavs would not rely on him the way they did before. Clearly, he would be there to spell Kyrie and maybe hold it down temporarily in result of a injury without the team completely tanking south on offense they way it does with Dellavedova.

3.) LeBron is comfortable with him and knows him. If you know him you know how important that is.

4.) They could be able to sign him for cheap or less than what he could demand on the open market.

5.) You take a Delon Wright and mold him for the future.

Norris Cole is a free agent this summer, why not just go for him? He at least doesnt fold when it matters and played with LBJ on those miami teams

Mo is better than Cole right now.

Cole probably wants stability and a contract. Cavs shouldnt be looking to pay anyone else. They will be limited in free agency signing anyway because of the cap. He actually looks like he's found a role in New Orleans.

Mo's deal would be short. It's not a long term solution.

The bench needs scoring more than anything else.

New Orleans traded for him. They will likely want to keep him

He's got more value than you think. Outside of this year, he's been to the Finals every year of his professional career.

Cavs will only have the mid-level exception to go after anyone.

Mo is a better fit for what they need and won't cost as much as far as guaranteed years and money.

Im lookin at a list of free agent point guards tryin to find anyone else, but i guess Mo's the best option. Maybe JJ Barea or CJ Watson.

I liked regular season Mo but post season Mo still gives me nightmares. :francis:
