This summer there are a lot of options to possibly upgrade at center.

Moz has a team option for like $5 million. He's grossly underpaid.

There are a lot of teams who would rather take that than overpay for a center.

They can offer Moz and Haywood's contract and go after someone like DeAndre.

They do too. But you gotta look at all options to improve.

I expect Moz to be back but don't be surprised if those trade rumors come to light.

LaMarcus just put his house in Portland up for sale. :sas1:

Breh, dat would be game ova if dat eva happened. :mjlol:

But mah brain wont eam entertain dat possibility. :francis:

He wouldn't be playing center for Cleveland breh if it actually went that route.

That would mean they'd move Love.

Love is better tho. And he wants to stay. Lamarcus seems like taking a step backwards.

Im not advocating that they get rid of Love. At all.

But to be blind and act like these scenarios won't be talked about within the front office isn't realistic.

oh i know its being discussed. I think this team as constructed is easily the best team in the league. If they can get better by adding Melo or Wade then sure but this core can win. Unfortunately Kyrie is hobbled and Love is out so i cant see it happening this year. We just need the basketball gods to bless us with health next year and we will be good.

The idea of trading mozgov for deandre or moving one of our big 3 for lamarcus just seems like steps backwards. If they can get Mo williams or norris cole in the off season and a back up 3 in the draft i think thats all we really need heading into the 2015-16 season

Yeah....I felt MUCH worse in 07 because LeBron literally had no one else to grow with going into the next season.

This isn't doom and gloom to me.

I expect those crazy rumors.

But I realistically expect them to bring Love, Moz, Shump, JR, Delly, and TT back. I expect Blatt and his staff to still be there.

I expect them to get that 2nd/3rd point guard....use the Haywood contract to get a wing or another center and to draft someone with high upside like Wright, RHJ, Anderson, or Upshaw depending on need.

They exceeded my personal expectations by getting to this point with no Love and a hobbled Kyrie relatively easily in the first season.

The one thing that stood out to me last night about Mozgov is that when he was fouled with under a minute to go in regulation and had to make free throws to tie the game at 98, he made them. I think he likes Blatt and should be our long term center. hes only 28. Deandre would have missed those.
