Damn Im sick of this fukking narrative 49er fans have with an issue with the stadium.

"Its in the middle of nowhere"

The stadium is in Santa Clara, 10 miles from downtown san jose(10 largest city in country) in the heart of silicon valley next to great america(amusement park). Which is also next to 4 major hotels within 2 blocks. 3 Major freeways and 1 expressway. The stadium has its own damn amtrak station which the valley commuter train uses and also has its own lightrail station. But its next to nothing. I used to work right down the street from the stadum on smith st when i was still in the tech industry, i saw the groundbreak and i was at the 1st event. The stadium is very nice. 49er fans have a new Lexus but is missing the beat down 10yr old camry it had...makes no sense. Lets not act that every 49er fan is coming from downtown SF.

It's one thing to suck. Fans will support but what Jed and co did is some shyt that you just don't do. They got rid of a very successful coach and replaced him with inferior coaches then watched talent walk out the door while replacing it with non-starter talent. We have had a wealth of picks over the last few years and have nothing to show for it.

Got rid of a high caliber coach for a guy who had never coached in the league. Wrote then have the audacity to say we only raise banners. What an idiotic owner that really took his fans for idiots.

The stadium though as someone who hasn't been really doesn't look like a next gen NFL stadium. I'm an architecture buff. The moment I saw this shyt I knew what time it was. I remember getting crowned for it too.

It's gonna be a long sled for us but we been through this shyt before. Sadly it's been far too long.

also nobody mentiined it was the SF 49ers their whole existence and the stadium was in the city! a city (like NYC) where majority dont have cars or dont choose to drive bc public transport is so good.

now the stadium is in Santa Clara. which is not in or close to the city unless you got a car...aint nobody going to Santa Clara except ppl who live in Santa Clara. I lived in the. Bay Area for 3 yrs in SF and Oakland, and still cannot tell you exactly where Santa Clara is
