That's literally besides the point because hindsight is 20/20. Black people in Black communities are being victimized by Black people and brothers like you think telling the victims that the people robbing them need jobs and opportunities will help them sleep better at night. They want to be able to sit on their porches in peace and will eventually reach a point where they're at peace with what's inevitably coming.

:francis:

well we will be right back in this same position in a decade or so. Sacrificing another generation

nah if you willing to violently vic and rob people nobody give a fukk about your problems or how you got there. those discussions need to be had before not after. After you make that turn you not getting that objectivity.

there's a lot of us that struggle and very few of us turn to violent crime against others. thats a character flaw.

that's what it is.

You are wasting time arguing against human nature itself. You might as well be a priest espousing the merits of lifetime abstinence. It would be as equally effective and pointless.

Y'all really think this shyt a game. Black people were cheering for the 90s crime bill because they were tired of being victims of crime at the hands of other Black people. Y'all can be naive and think Black people are sympathizing with criminals because the root problem is white supremacy but you'd be sadly mistaken. If a Black person is out here sticking guns in people's faces because they can't eat any other way then it's time for that person to die.

:manny:

Crime bill won't solve none of that, like it didn't in the 80s/90s/00s

not at all and speaking of nature violence meets death in nature often that's the rule so it would be apt to kill people who victimize others not advocate for them to be humanized and empathized with while continuing to remain in the community. The rules of nature are harsh. :yeshrug:

all this consideration we supposed to have for people that victimize their own is actually going against nature. this ain't about morality but practicality. once you cross certain lines you are a liability to have around. all the backstory of how you got there isn't relevant.

I don't even disagree.

The point here is that the victims of these crimes want something, anything to be done about the crime that's plaguing their communities.

That would mean people within the community holding others within the same community accountable. :mjlol: That's just not happening. Nobody is telling their cousin, their uncle, their homies, "ayy breh:ufdup: stop doing what you're doing or :camby:" Nope, will never happen. Instead it's "there go my brethren Jay, he know how to get money" :smugbiden:

Or it's "Shanice is having another baby!!:ohhh:" "With who girl?:gurl:" "With Jay :youngsabo:"

Dysfunction is not something that should ever become normalized and accepted as it is what it is. Yet, that's where we are.

Human nature.

How far does any people, any nation, get while feasting on themselves?

Coli been full of posts from people cheering for the mass incarceration or extermination of young black criminals. Posting that Umar clip all the time...

It's true tho...laws are coming. This crime wave has destroyed any real chance at criminal or police reform in this country. Even the shyt in Wisconsin with the black guy who ran over those people...cacs are targeting the district attorney for giving him a "low" cash bond that allowed him to get out.

Gang violence...
bring that back and when the cops run through their whole family like murder hornets, then they will be looking to blame those leaders. wash, rinse, repeat.

you cant police your way to a decent life for black folk. you already tried it.
