Cherokee Nation Kicks Out Nearly 3,000 Black Members

We're the sad and pathetic ones... not the natives... all of my sons have a certain hair cuz of one grandparent... my darkest bm with the kinkist hair produced the lightest kid w the least kinkest hair cuz of me.
but I'd never mention some mixed bullshyt to them. They have random things on both sides...
The thing is..
We are black and Not All of our people are proud of that. Plus most non black people shy away from us not identify. I could show some documents and results... so what,? They are more ashamed than proud. Not all natives, or asians in general are racist but they aren't jumping through hoops to claim us.
Until the majority of our people are proud to be black.... then we need to put the focus on being black... who cares that ur grandmother was native.... shyt mine was half... that doesn't mean that the majority of the tribe was doing shyt when my peps were sold as property. I have those papers too and not one native cared from the tribe, most Mexicans sit on the sideline when bs happens to blacks, most arabs hate us, and east Asian Sat by let us get fukked up then they repped the rewards of our struggles...
We don't have the luxury of all this cross identification. Honestly, I dont barely even identify w my African tribe too much or east Africa.
Of course, this is just my opinion... but we r black so called American... lets focus on the goals around that.

Nah. I'm dead ass. I don't know how it works. Going off genetics, I should be 1/8th but, the only thing native about me is my hair texture. Besides that, I'm dark as Idris Elba. I'm sure they would give me thePlus my grandmother's mom died when she was 5. I doubt she even knows the tribe her mom came from
you have to be able to document it esp now - a lot of trib es have been purging their rolls of members - even those who are ( or were) full blooded for years natives of this or that tribe esp because many tribes are starting casinos and business ventures and using their tax free and govt free status to make money and share the money
the membership is governed by the tribe itself - they dont have to comply with any US govt laws or standards because they are autonomous -their affairs govern the reservation only and they determien who is or isnt one of the "tribe"
