I'm assuming you never went to school in the hood. There were winters with no heat. I'm talking 0 degrees outside and there's icicles forming inside the damn classroom. Not enough books to go around, teachers not giving a fukk, and sometimes not even enough chairs/desks in the class. And on top of that no matter what, they'll just pass you to the next grade just to get you out of the system.
How do you expect someone to study for the SAT when they've received a poor education their entire life? Their not even reading at a Junior HS grade level by the time they graduate, if they even make it that far. Every time I think about it, I think God shyt jumped off and we had to leave the city and moms moved down south. I'm bout 80% sure I'd be dead or in prison if that didn't happen.
My older brother was smart enough to skip from grade 6 to grade 9, and ended up dropping out of HS. He said ain't no way in hell he was gonna go there when he seen nikkas smuggling in weapons past the metal detector

Like I said, we ended up moving down south to get away from that shyt. Long story short some street shyt popped off and my moms sent my 2 older brothers out the country to Jamaica and me and my other brother moved to the other side of BK, then ended up moving down south a few months later.
I went to school in NYC, and if you don't think inner city schools are cesspools, go watch the documentary Waiting For Superman. Most inner city schools are beyond fukked up. Unless you went to school there, you wouldn't believe me if I told you.
School funding is based on property tax. The schools in the poorest neighborhoods receive the least amount of money. Which means the students receive an inferior education and end up dropping out and having to resort to illicit means to make money.

If the students are receiving a poor education, it doesn't matter how well funded the school is. You said them nikkas should go take the SAT, how is that feasible when 30% of the students in the best schools aren't even ready for college math?
