as a bears fan I like this hire matt had the colts playing decent on defense with only two stars we got multiple stars on the defense with roquan,mack,quinn and JJ i just hope jim caldwell comes in as a OC or pep hamilton

Owners/GM's hire who they're comfortable with. If all things are equal, they will always pick who they vibe with better.

Black coaches have to be above and beyond better to get hired, or come from a great head coach like a Belichick.

Flus still helped change the culture there on that side of the ball. At the time he was hired, the thought of the Colts fielding a defense anywhere near the Top 10 seemed taboo.

Darius having like 12 takeaways this past season boosted our defensive ratings massively, but I think Flus did well here for a team without a pass rush.

Chicago should be in good hands, I just need to see who they’re hiring as OC.
