Leftwich's name just sprouted as a potential coaching candidate this season.

Also, his coaching career has been progressing quite nicely.....and it's no guarantee he'll take the Jacksonville job if it's offered. Just bide his time instead of settled for the first offer that comes his way.

I heard the only reason he isnt in jacksonville is because he isnt too fond of the gm there, wants his own guy. Honestly he may just take over for BA in a year or two with tampa.

A good OC matters more cause he gon spend more time with him than the HC.
nikkas gush over Herbert and Allen but both McDermott and Staley defensive coaches. And I was gonna mention Beli too. Russ with Pete and lawd knows he never had an OC worth a shyt.
I agree with Doc that its an individual thing. I mean look at all the offensive masterminds at HC and all the underdeveloped Qb.

there is more than one way to skin a cat, A good OC can help a qb, but like @calh45 said the HC who is offensive minded can and will develop their qb, and will implement an offense around their qb mcvay shanahan

I know this has been said to death, but the NFL still has a problem with black OC-minded head coaches. they simply don't get hired. the NFL legit thinks nikkas cannot understand the complexities of offense as a coach.
