Why is it always a Woman who gets caught up in attire issues at airports.

I may be dead wrong but if I Google attire violations of patrons and airlines, I'm almost certain it gon be a woman.

I was a supervisor for Southwest from 2015-2016.
:wow:
I’ve personally booted 3 passengers from planes due to clothing.
:francis:
Most of the time, we tell them to put some pants on or a shirt over their shirt. Most comply, but some don’t have anything or are militants.
:martin:
shyt sucks all the way around. Ten years ago, yoga pants were starting to be accepted. Now, airlines don’t want no problems.
:whoa:
Wear what you want as long as explicit language isn’t on your clothing.

Most public decency laws handle see through clothing just fine. You can't do anything about someone's tattoo. It's not a lack of standards but an understanding of how the world works. We can do better by understanding that.

That said, it shouldn't be up to a company to be sole arbiters concerning how one dresses. We applaud it until they take it further and apply it in a manner that discriminates against black people. They're within their right to make these rules but it is risky giving them more control.
Their company, their rules. If you have a tattoo on your forehead with something with a slur or extremely offensive, well that is your problem.

If you are wearing shorts so short and tight that if you move the wrong way someone can see your box, then that is your problem.

Dress codes for flights are not some new thing and it should not be a major issue to wear decent clothes as an adult. Condoning this shyt just makes it worse

Surely the flight attendants have towels they could lend the passenger? :patrice:

It could be worn like sarong and save everybody onboard the hassle of being late. Or maybe as a poncho if the top is problematic .

Nothing you said negates anything in my post and is just you repeating yourself. Also, being concerned about overreach and a company going too far with their rules is not going to make it worse. Acting like these companies can do no wrong certainly will.

I'm actually in favor of this idea. I'd say it should be billed to that passenger but that would give the airlines a financial incentive to be more stringent with their dress codes and target certain people unfairly.

Some times it’s the passengers that would snitch. Some times the flight attendants hate. Most of the time, it’s the gate agent that spots the outfit and calls to supervisor to have the conversation.
:francis:
It could all be prevented if the dame agent at check in would pay attention and let them know what’s up first.
:snoop:
To your point, once you make it on the plane there should be no problems.
:beli:
Flight attendants should just give them a dirty look and love on. Most of the time, cases like this everybody knows the person is in the wrong but nobody says or does anything.

It’s wild, here in Japan you don’t see casual wear on the flights at all. Women don’t wear yoga pants on flights. NONE. It’s refreshing, but you realize we all want to be comfortable for the 2-5 hour flight. Plus having to do the TSA dance.

I rock slides, joggers, and hanleys when I flight now.
:manny:
I never thought I would wear joggers but I now realize why women wear jogs pants everywhere. The shyt is comfortable.
:ahh:
dikk and balls aren’t constricted, no jean material to block breathability, easy to slip ina no out of for bathroom use.
:wow:
I was a chinos guy for flights before I finally got a pair of joggers.
:pachaha:
I stopped caring about looking fly once I got married.

Above the fray.
They publicized the rule change months ago.
Reporter said "when the woman was given the option of covering up, she refused" Airline likely has brand new smocks stored for situations like this , and likely gave her that option. She said no, and her sis caused the delay of the departure.

The women were in the wrong here.

Kool Moe Dee's grand daughter should have just covered up.

No strong male role model in the household. Just a household of women telling "ain't shyt negroes" what they ain't finna do. Believes the world works in such manner. World makes her realize it doesn't.
