Last time Lonzo played 50 games was 2021. Only team he played 60 his career was 2020. Missed 2 whole seasons wit major injury and only played 35 this season. Never experienced the grind of the playoffs either which tougher to get through physically. There almost a 0 chance Lonzo is healthy by playoffs AND makes it healthy a full playoff run.
The biggest thing was his knee holding up. Which remarkably this season, it did.

He was missing games because of a fluky wrist injury. There was no incentive for him to try and rush back and play. Chicago extended him during the season after he showed that he could still play at a high level. Plus Tre Jones was playing extremely well at the guard spot for them. They extended him and got an extremely good deal done with the intention of flipping him later.

Low risk deal in all honesty. Cavs should play him in the regular season like OKC did with Caruso so he can go in the Playoffs.

Looking forward to seeing him in a Playoff series

It's a risk, but the smart thing would have been to start the season with Lonzo and have him play just to show he's straight. People just know he missed a lot of games after Feb, but don't realize it had nothing to do with his knees and they just shelved him for other reasons. Plus once they cashed him out, there was no rush.

With CLE having a legit squad and National TV games, watch how many people come to realize how impactful dude is this season.

The deal they signed him too was perfect and low risk. If he re-injured his knee they'd just not take his option.

Bulls are #1 attendance in the league every year lol.

Unless they boycott, their front office is fine with just doing whatever the fukk until the end of time.
They are resembling the Cubs when they were coined "The Loveable Losers".

Front office not giving a damn because the house was gonna be packed regardless.

Mfs in here talking like this pre injury Lonzo

lol

Y'all really wouldn't know what he looked like this season. Only Bulls fans who caught most of their games would.

He's catching lobs, defending 1-4, blocking shots, playmaking, scrambling for loose balls and steals like he never hurt his knees. He didn't miss games because of his knees last year

This dude isn't done. The Bulls are just stupid because his value was higher at the deadline before he reagravated his wrist injury

Okoro is horrible. So addition by subtraction just getting rid of him.

If lonzo can regain any of his previous form this is a major dub for the Cavs.

What are the Bulls doing?

Guess that’s a question you could ask at any point since β€˜99
