I remember my aunt left Chicago in 2002 when her mail got stolen… she ended up retiring and moved back down south… she said then, Chicago will be hell in a few years

she lived off of 79th and Michigan Ave… was at that same house for over 30 years

My grandfather lived on 79th & Crandon.

I was surprised he never moved back down south before he passed, especially being from Atlanta.

How are all of these guns finding their way into the populace?

Has to do with the surrounding red states and their lax gun laws. Guns from those states are either stolen or sold to cats that bring them back into the city.

Milwaukee and Kinzie is the west loop east of the expressway. That's downtown I don't care about official designations.

Nah "downtown" is Wacker to State and Wacker to Congress.
Everything else is West Loop, Lake Front, Near North and South Loop.

Downtown is 1 big ass trap in my city probably like that in all big cities now. D boys can make more money downtown then serving in the hood.
