I went to high school in the middle 00's. Me and the guys went downtown 1 time in all those years. I dont know how downtown became a thing, we never used to leave our hood or side of the city.
When I go older I went downtown to get away from nikkas and have peace. They ruined it.
I was downtown every weekend at places AMC21/Lucky Strike. The hell was you doing in HS? And like Chicago posted earlier, nikkas linking up through social media. I remember if any issues happened downtown it would strictly be by the red line stops like grand ave near the rnr McDonald’s. Now multiple groups of 50 kids just link up and run up and down from south loop to Gold Coast
