Chicago police have a 25% clearance rate in homicides.

That is fukkin' abysmal. That means 75% of homicides are not being solved. That means if 400 people are killed in Chicago. 300 killers are not being caught. So shockingly.. they keep killing.

Chicago police are USELESS. They keep babbling about they know who are doing all the shootings yet can't solve or prevent anything.

It's a world class city but the police are definitely not on a world class level.

saint louis had a horrible 2015 in terms of murders

Police are letting this happen. I know for a fact that they never come. I lived literally on the next BLOCK from a huge police station and it takes a hour for one to just ride down the block for a shooting. You can look on facebook and know who is killing who. But they caught the two who shot dwades cousin the next day lol.its cameras ALL over the city, red light and police cameras

Half these Chicago gang members are full blown idiots. Posting everything online, hanging out same blocks, being reckless as hell... Chicago PD can figure out who is a member of a gang pretty easy. They make it easy. Best believe they know who does half this shyt.

OP just posted an article saying police have basically stopped doing their job and now the murders are increasing because people are carrying weapons more since police aren't even searching people anymore.

It blows my mind how people can act like all this shyt is not directly related to the police and their ineffectiveness.

Question though, If the cops started doing this, would people not complain about the cops profiling and stop & frisk?

I hate to blame everything on the gov't, but, you can say they have nothing to do with this.

More cops will absolutely bring more scrutiny to the Chi when they eventually start killing some of these guys.
