There were certain migrational patterns to the Great Migration.
People from Florida migrated up the East Coast to cities like Philly and New York. Along with people from Georgia and the Carolinas.
People that came to Chicago were mostly from Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Louisiana.
People from Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas also went west to California.
I, neither anyone that I know, have ancestral ties to Florida or Texas. Those were just not states that people migrated to Chicago from in any kind of numbers. Obviously, there are exceptions.

Breh, went to the O'Jays and Isley Brothers farewell concert last month. When Ron Isley did his set and played Contagious, he had a video and when R Kelly came on the screen, the nikka got a standing ovation. I'm talking about wall to wall. And the room was full of old heads.
Chicago nikkas is not changing how they feel about R Kelly.
Ron Isley playing that video was no doubt a low-key show of support for him.

I was like
You let the politicians and “social” workers tell it there’s no jobs and no hope and everything is the white mans fault. There’s nothing but jobs in Chicago. All over the suburbs and all over Indiana.
Sometimes I feel like this money being spent on crisis intervention and violence reduction should be re routed. Use that money to take nikkas to work.

Love Chicago. One of my favorite cities. Won’t catch me anywhere near these areas though. Additionally fukk these urban terrorists and those that defend them. I understand well “root causes” but people have to adapt a zero tolerance policy about these types. Have to excise them like cancer, accept there will be a lost group and try to improve things for the next generation and the ones in these environments that are just struggling to get by. fukk a rehabilitation and second chances for cold blooded race traitors.
