Crazy to me that people think putting the military into a city would improve anything. That plan worked incredibly in Iraq/Afghanistan/Libya/Syria. Never been to Chicago but any city that has these issues needs to find a way to empower the people in those areas. The majority of people in poor areas have nothing to do with gangs or bullshyt.

Numbers are misleading. You were more likely to bleed out from a gun shot wound back then. Technology and medical advances make survival much higher. I'm willing to bet more people get shot now than then. Feel free to correct me.

If you've read any of my posts, you'd see I've called this type of shyt out several times, but of course you being a racist cac, once again you make blanket statements about blacks thinking they'll stick.
Whites have a societal system in place geared in their favor and use said system to act upon their profiling and stereotypes, blacks don't. chicago's homicide numbers aren't as high as previous decades because the city has a smaller population.

of course chicago won't have 650-700+ murders a year because you're missing about 2 million people

that's why i said earlier you have to include other factors when comparing literally 50 year old data like that.
there's been advances in pretty much everything since 1974 - going through the course of our day we don't think about these things

i would be interested in seeing the data on people that were shot and not necessarily killed in the 70's, 90's, and now.
