I don't believe President Obama, is going to be remembered fondly by many people,he is a total disappointment , but I do believe the republican party need to take some of the blame for putting forward two really poor alternatives, hell back in 2008, sarah palin of all people was more of a threat to Obama for a few weeks than the actual republican presidential candidate john mcain.... It became Palin vs Obama a woman with zero experience in national or international politics ,a woman who happened to have bags of charisma and was pretty, but still not enough between the ears , no one gave a fukk about Mcain, and thank god he didn't become president because we would be at war in syria and russia by now. He is a senile warmongering old coot. As for the choice in the later election ,you had a corporate whore Mitt 'binders full of women ' romney with zero charisma who constantly put foot in mouth , who was already half beaten for Obama thanks to what newt gingrich did to him in the republican primaries....Would have been fun to see Obama debate gingrich though, but oh well.

I do not think Obama has done well in repairing the damage done,in fact I think he had made it worse in some ways, I think he was far too idealistic on what could be accomplised on the world stage , but at least he didn't set fire to the middle east like W did. The finanical crisis happened under Bush as well.
