On Thursday, Cook County Commissioner William Beavers was indicted Thursday on allegations of tax fraud. While the news made a few front pages the following day, the city -- and state -- responded overall with a collective sigh.
Just last week, Chicago was named the most corrupt city in America according to a study by the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Illinois' Institute of Government and Public Affairs.
The report cites federal data showing that, between 1976 and 2010, there were 1,531 convictions for public corruption in "the federal district dominated by Chicago," according to the Associated Press.
U.S Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald, the man who announced charges against former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich in 2008, has publicly said he plans to stop corrupt politicians from thriving in the state.
On Friday, Beavers told reporters he did not "give a f**k" about Fitzgerald, adding "F**k him."
Beavers is not the first local politician to proclaim innocence after an indictment -- and will sadly not be the last. We rounded up some other local politicians who have been charged with corruption in Chicago, Cook County and Illinois. Since 1,531 slides seemed excessive, we stuck to some of the most recent corrupt officials. And since Beavers has yet to have his day in court, we left him out... for now.

I think people forget as well,that President Obama is the leader of the democrat party, that is who he represents, and the democrat party need all those migrants to shore up their voting base, if you notice where they want the migrants distributed it is in areas that are republican or in areas where democrat politicians are under threat . Theleft wing labour party did a similar trick in the UK, starting in the late nineties up to the late 2000's. The UK independence party, a right wing popularist party did very well in certain parts of england recently , the response from the left? understand why people voted how they did , make changes listen to the people ? no,.... bus in migrants, basically enforce a change in the population.
Obama is like any other modern day politician,it isn't about principle, honour or anything like that it is about numbers first and foremost and big corporations pulling their strings. I feel very sorry for all the poor folk in america, white black and hispanic, because they are the ones who are going to suffer from what the democrat party want to do here, it won't be the children of the politicians who will feel the effects, you think Obamas children will be affected?you think if they were affected, Obama would be doing this? It's not about race to these poor folk,really it's about people fighting over the scraps the scum at the top throw them, . There will be pressure on housing, jobs ,health care.
The answer to it,is to follow what the homosexuals have done, make money, form political pressure groups, force politicians to represent you,or fire them and get ones in who will, all that is possible if you have money. Money buys you a politician like Obama.
