FDR was hated because of the New Deal. Called him a socialist and communist, because of him signing the social security act which now many people can't live without and cleaning up the shyt left behind by those before him. This is basically how Obama is seen. Is he perfect? No he isn't but the things set in place can be beneficial if they don't get muddied by his successors. I do think that politically he played it way too safe when it comes to pushing blacks towards political equality(look at his cabinet for proof). He also tried too hard to appease republicans by conceding too much to them instead of being a voice of authority. All in all his impact will be seen years from now since nothing he did is really for the short term.
Obviously tho, those people in the video have no idea how politics work tho.
