After you trade him, who would play PG? I'm not trading Rose. He played well considering the circumstances, but I still think he can get better. He's shown flashes against some of the best PGs in the league. I remember when people said CP3 was done after his knee injuries, and he came back just fine. Rose still has his athleticism. His handles regressed some, but that will come back. This was just a year of regaining his confidence. The fact that his season didn't end on an injury is huge. The Bulls main problem is the system they ran. It was too predictable and slow paced. With players like Rose and Butler, you need to play at a faster pace, otherwise their athleticism is being wasted.

Was bout to dap you but:francis:

Thibs gotta go - he's the reason we don't have better bench management and better offensive sets . If Thibs could have developed this as a Head Coach throughout all those years, he could have kept his job but he's the same guy from 5 years ago. Hasn't learned shyt

Your rebuilding you shouldn't be worried about who will be the pg. You will address that within the next few years

We don't need to rebuild. We had the talent to win it all, but it wasn't used correctly. Make a few tweaks here and there, and we will be right back in the thick of things. What major personnel moves did Golden State make? Went from first round exit to 67 win season, on their way to the WCF.

Golden State personel is on the upside of their careers. Bulls have several going the opposite ways it's not a good comparison

im not giving up a potential franchise big for a mopey, major injury having PG whose best days may be behind him. i hated the way he played in that series, yea Thibs' halfcourt sets are a bore but he plays so apathetic

Bulls need to give it another try with a different coach before the "blow it up" talk starts.

Rose looked good for the most part in these playoffs considering he only came back for like the 3 last games of the regular season from the surgery. Bring in a coach that understands matchups and who understands offense, and lets see how Rose looks. They finally have a more than suitable running mate for him in the backcourt with Jimmy.

Outside of Game 5 where he was clearly dinged up and the blowout L they took in Game 6 you didn't like how Rose played in the series?

not really, it still looked like 4/5th's of the old him. im not declaring him done or anything like that, im sure he'll be fine going forward if he stays healthy. he beasted in games 3 and 4, maybe the awful finale is leaving a bad taste. there were big stretches where he was just too quiet, even outside of scoring and thats not like him. he always makes his presence known

but if im a GM with a top 2 pick, i could never justify that to the fanbase. you'd have to roll with one of the young C's
