not really, it still looked like 4/5th's of the old him. im not declaring him done or anything like that, im sure he'll be fine going forward if he stays healthy. he beasted in games 3 and 4, maybe the awful finale is leaving a bad taste. there were big stretches where he was just too quiet, even outside of scoring and thats not like him. he always makes his presence known

but if im a GM with a top 2 pick, i could never justify that to the fanbase. you'd have to roll with one of the young C's
22ppg 6.5apg 5.6rpg isn't bad for his first time back in the Playoffs in 3 years.

It's also not bad considering the offense the Bulls were running, or trying to run.

it was stagnant, for sure. watched the entire series front to back and was sad when he slowed up every time it looked like he wanted to run after a stop. him and Butler should have had the green light to push the ball up much more quickly, they looked like guys that were handcuffed

"...Opposing players throughout the Eastern Conference, even ones who were/are in these playoffs, say they have the Bulls scouted to the T largely because they adhere so strictly to called plays. "If the Bulls could avoid having all those six-, seven-minute scoring droughts they'd probably be the best team in the league, but they can't," one Eastern Conference veteran told me Sunday night. "And we all know every single thing they're going to run. ... Some nights they just execute at a level you can't stop, but you can't do that all the time in the playoffs, not against well-coached teams that lock in defensively." - Mike Wilbon

Everybody around the league knows the Bulls offense ain't shyt. Unless dudes making miracle highly difficult and contested shots they're not scoring

In the NFL draft? They might get a 4th and a swap in the 6th at this point.

Rose looked pretty good

Why blow it up? Is Jimmy Butler leaving?
People are just being short sighted with DRose, this year was all about staying on the court, and making progress

All these expectations can start next season, and lowkey, I think Jimmy/Derrick will be happy to have a new coach/direction

They arent young guys anymore, they dont need that taskmasker type draining their love of the game and limiting their creativity offensively(Thibs sounds like a burden to have as a coach)

Rose coasted the regular season, which was fine, but we need to find a coach that can reignite his spark, it just didnt seem to be clicking with the current system

Bulls will be fine, they need big time growth from Niko, Snell & McDermott and maybe make moves to re work the front court

Too early to do that, or perhaps it's too late. Rose showed flashes of being very good especially as a slasher. If I'm Rose this offseason, I'm going to shooting camp. He really needs to clean up his jumper. If homie can stay healthy he's a top 5 PG again.

It's time to rebuild this is just not a good team. They should deal rose rebuild. Deal noah for something shortly afterwards.
Who the hell would trade a top 2 or 3 pick for an injury riddled 6'2 volume shooting PG who can't even read

:what:
