the country was founded on slavery too. and racism towards multiple groups (not just blacks). should we re-embrace those ideals too?
and your comment about sweatshops is true. i'm not denying that. but i'm talking about a specific thing here and the apathy shown towards it. don't deflect the issue and try to expand the argument. it's not relevant to this discussion on chick-fil-a. like i said, i find it ridiculous how people can be on this forum. one minute they don't like organized religions and don't believe in God because it was used to enslave blacks, yet they'll give their money to an organization that believes in God (which i don't have a problem with by far) that's using that same money to give to others to promote principles in the bible to hold another group back from obtain political acceptance and government recognition in the form of marriage...
if you can't even get over this obvious hurtle, i find it hard to believe you'll tackle the issues of sweatshops, nor the issues of human rights...
