I went up there today with some friends and that place was so packed the line was going out the door. Drive through line was wrapping around the building....

Don't understand why I should feel "bad" that the CEO said what he said...a lot of people would be outright shocked at what a LOT of CEOs feel or believe. You might not want to buy certain foods/clothes bc of they might feel a certain way about your culture, beliefs, sexuality etc...

That's why I let politicians deal with this and just do me. Some things just don't affect me, this is one of them. If the CEO said something about black folks, then I would look at what he said and choose not to eat there. I did that with R Kelly. In my mind, he did something wrong with a minor (who could've been a female relative of mines or someone I know) I didn't go on tv or to all my friends telling them to protest Kells, I just took it upon myself to NOT listen to his music anymore. Doesn't affect how or if others listen to it. I took a personal stand just as I think the homosexuals should do more often.

Instead of MAKING us Like them or demonization us if we don't, just learn to do you. Do I know that there are people out here who don't like African Americans? Yes, but I don't try to MAKE you like me, all I ask for is respect. I'm not forcing anything upon anybody.

for those that continue to eat at chick-fil-a, does it bother you knowing that the money you give in exchange for your food is being used for these anti-gay marriage groups? or are you not concerned with how chick-fil-a is using their funds and more concerned about yourself and eating their food? or are you just against gay marriage in general?

i'm curious because it seems like a good amount of you are apathetic to the issue of chick-fil-a using your funds in this manner, and i feel like that apathy is a result of your lack of support for gay marriage. maybe even direct opposition of it, but it's presented under the guise of apathy to avoid seeming discriminatory and judgmental of the group. besides, there's no real argument against gay marriage aside from ones that take a biblical approach, or the "belief" concept, which you could technically believe anything you want to.

i'm just curious though, so i'd like to hear what you have to say...

I see nothing wrong with them supporting whatever they believe in.. And enjoying good food from one of the most ethical company's in American is not a political statement to me..

This is one battle the gay momevent will not win.

I fully support gay rights and gay marriage and everything in regards to their movement. However, I don't see why this is a big deal. The guy was obviously Christian. I mean, they're fukking closed on Sunday. Who cares? I'm not going to boycott them just because the CEO is a bigot.

Nothing against gays but there are much bigger things happening in the country...such as an unemployment rate still hovering around 8%. This shouldn't be a issue at all.

Considering this country was founded by the religious, I don't get where it's such a travesty that Chik FilA is pushing biblical principles. Why don't we have gay marriage already? Because this country was founded on religious principles.

So it's okay for gays to push to have their activities plastered everywhere and to force everyone to act like they are either indifferent or to act like they better enjoy the issue or they are some kind of bigot, but it's not alright to not like homosexuality? Marriage is TRADITIONALLY defined as between a man and a woman. What is wrong for Chik FilA for standing behind that? They are not promoting beating up gays, they are not denying them jobs, nor are they preventing them from eating at their restaurants... so I would like to see how that is in ANY way comparable to what blacks experienced. Funny liberals have a problem with that, but have no problem buying Apple products who use those Chinese sweatshops where there are virtually NO human rights... where it can get so bad at those factories that they have to install suicide nets. That ain't important though.
