That Bohemian Soul salon on Nostrand is awesome. I will return next week.

Chinese (and Thai) restaurants RARELY fukk up this order: broccoli + fried tofu in garlic sauce with extra mushrooms and extra onions. Rice is optional, but I like it sticky.

I don't sample the meat these suspicious NYC asian places offer. Even Chipotle's gristle-filled, locally-sourced chicken chunks >>> the cat/dog/squirrel meat those FOB China men pass off.

Chinatown in Manhattan is straight up filthy. The old folks at McDs don't know to cover their mouths when they cough. Just walking down Bowery near/thru a corner of NYC's FOB Chinese hoard will leave you with a respiratory infection. Beware!

:pachaha: and people look at me crazy when i order chicken with broccoli with no chicken

It's definitely some cognitive dissonance going on, including myself. I took a nice little minute for me to realize face reality that there was something "special" about the General Tsao :lupe:. I've heard the stories growing up, but I figured it was just a few bad apples in the bunch, probably in conniving the public with exotic meat......but I had to really think about all the times I've eaten chicken and why it tasted so..........rubbery-ish. Haven't eaten regular American style Chinese food from a regular restaurant in awhile, think I went to an expensive ass Chinese/Mongolian buffet, but that is about it in the last year or so.
