I was 1 and a half years old when "Paid In Full" came out but I know every single word on that album, this lil nig is ridiculous. He can just say "I've checked their stuff, I'm not a fan", that'd be more valid than "i was too young"

I'm sure that at the very least he's exaggeratng by sayin' "only one song", but I'm not shocked at all that he doesn't know their music like he does the artists he named.

Hey, at one point Melle Mel was the greatest MC around. How many of us have any clue as to why besides "The Message"? Chief Keef doesn't seem like a dude who watches documentaries or cares to learn about hip-hop's history... sad as that is, the generation of kids born in the 90s don't really care much about the 90s :manny: It's something that one has to consciously decide to be interested in, it's not a given. Pac and BIG were dead by the time he was 2, and while the nostalgia train has continued on since then, he was still a little kid when that was still going strong. Time is flyin', brehs. We don't even realize how fast it's going. These kids like Keef and Desiigner were barely in school when G-Unit was on top, brehs...

Don't know why y'all getting hung up on that 1 song thing and he's not exaggerating either:stopitslime:. Everybody sees exactly where he's coming from when he listed the artists he grew up listening to and he's always talked about how big of a beanie fan he was. Dude never said he was a rap historian :russ:
Some posters in here probably haven't heard 1 pac song :russ:

nikkas isn't going out there way to listen to Big and Pac to be honest. The songs from them that they do hear will always be through the radio and depending on the DJ will always be one or two songs.

Reminds me of when Prince died and the R&B station played his whole catalog and my young cousin kept bytching about it. Its a new generation brehs accept your:flabbynsick: card and stop getting angry

I call it he's trolling. Im 21 and even without being a coli poster i have a decent amount of hip hop knowledge, keef is turning 21 this year himself and is a damn rapper he definitely knows.

Lowkey I feel like the industrys been pushing a "fukk the 90s" ideology on fans especially with Vince Staples, Kodak Black and now Chief Keef, 90s music aint the only good music but lets be real and respectful for the cultures history which was great and still good today

my nikka wtf u talking bout:mjlol:
i been saying this. i b laughing when nikkas on here be talking bout young nikkas still bumpin pac

hip hop is dead forreal aint no history aint no tradition.

these young nikkas dont care about all that hipity hop shyt

they jus wanna get high n wear little pants:manny:

I fukked the quote up at first, I'll clarify it for you

At the bolded, damn I ain't heard nikkas say this lame ass shyt since like '07. You must be one of them nikkas who still leaves "Soulja Boy killed hip hop" comments on youtube. And it's plenty of young nikkas, like myself, who bump Pac. I'm the same age as him, but that nikka doesn't speak for anybody's music taste except his own. I just want to know, how does it feel being a broke ass nikka complaining about current music on an internet forum, while the nikkas you're talking about got rich before he turned 21
