Isnt it called child support because it's supporting the child because the other parents is absent to help out in person? If so the most independent parent and mentally sound should have custody because it will provide the most stability for the child. If one parent can't afford to pay at least 50%-40% of expenses without the support, the child should be moved. The card should include utilities because normally if both parents are working they would likely split the bills if they are together.

It's support not dependence for the child having parent.

lol i'm not worried about any of that tho, the women who i deal with are usually pretty great individuals who are ambitious with good careers.

On the real tho my folks divorced when I was like 4. My pops was on child support for 14 years paying $65 a week while working for UPS. I got patnas payin $200-$300 a week nowadays and they my age (25) workin at plants and shyt. Some women ain't just out for the $ but if they got a grudge against you or some shyt

Don't like it. You got young guys like me when I was 18-21 who my mom was getting the money and I fully supported myself.

She raised me by herself putting in blood sweat tears, my dad doesn't get to dictate shyt to her.l

Child Support is quite possibly the dumbest requirement ever. Another unsuccessful venture we continue to throw money at. You don't support a child with money, you support a child with love, time and energy. Money only seems to come into play because we often times lose site of our parental obligations and subsequently end up having to pay for it. Co-Parenting should be the goal of any two people who produce a child out of wed-lock. Instead we place ourselves at the mercy of the court system to arbitrarily define a minimum and maximum amount of money deemed appropriate to support a child you helped to create but who does not live under your roof. As a man, if I were in one of these unfortunate situations, I'd feel obligated to help meet the needs of the mother of my child as that woman's well being has a direct impact on the health of my child.

I think what happens is men and women make the mistake of procreating with people who are not fit to raise children. Which is just as stupid as child support.

I don't have an issue with this program. But the women aren't wrong. It takes a lot more than a measly couple 100s a month to support a child.
