Limiting what they can buy with the card is a great idea. Make them report what they spend the money on. I should get the report too. I'd love to know that my money is actually going towards supporting him. Even if that means rent, gas, or food. I get some months, but not every month should go to rent or those bills. Maybe set it to every other month or so they can pay rent or utilities with it.

Alot of states already have cards similar to this. I think it would be a good thing. It would cut down on mothers /fathers abusing monies allotted to their child for things needed. Alot of fathers/mothers already do things for their child/dren and these mothers/fathers are out here just being greedy by taking them to court for support when he/she already helps out. I've always said one thing If I were to ever have another baby I would never ask for child support. I feel like child support is a way of using the legal system to beg a father/mother to do what he/she should already be doing.

They really should though. Lights water rent and mortgage isn't the responsibility of the father, child support is just that... Support for the Child!
If the mother can't pay rent or keep on lights then guess who should have custody and who shouldn't
