There is no true value you can put on caring for a child.....it's priceless. nikkas aL ready get the luxury of maintaining their lives and body as is once the baby comes out....like fatherhood borderline optional motherhood borderline mandatory

fukk em, if all involved decided as a man the courts need to tell you how to spend on your child then the fukk would make these nikkas think they have a say in how the money spent

If she spent her last paying daycare and oh boy is two weeks late for the support...well daycare already paid. ...maybe mama car note needs that money now. ..let the person RAISING the child control the money for the child

in regards to the housing (rent and utilities) the mother could probably afford a one bedroom apt or whatever, but now needs a 2 bedroom being that the child lives with them. what about groceries? and don't come in here talking about wic and foodstamps because not all single parents are on assistance. and the focus is solely on dispersing child support.

additionally, my parents divorced when i was young. he paid child support, but she didn't 'need' it and it all went into a savings account for me, which i used to help with tuition for my masters. this question is based on the idea that the mother is untrustworthy and it has to be dictated what she is allowed to spend the money on. ten people in here can't even agree on whether it should help to cover utilities or not.
at the same time, i don't know many business that track the size of clothing or shoes when you go to purchase them.

So your children doesn't use water or electricity? How about the gas for the car that takes the kid to school? How about the bedroom where they sleep?

Key word "support". As in there should already be a foundation/plan established. When someone asks for support its extra help. Not "do everything for me".

The mother is and should still be reponsible for some of the child's financial needs. Which is why they get primary custody in the first place.

I don't think the house, the water nor the electricity is of the concern for the parent required to pay child support. that's unfair. so basically if I don't have custody, I need to pay for everything while the mother ride's for free? LadySimone, that's not fair. what if you were required to pay child support? would you truly feel it's your responsibility to pay for the water and electricity? and don't say "but that's the man's role" because that's not a fair answer.

Should be open to utilities too. Most of these thots would be furious cause that's their weave money, but on the flip side caring for a child requires a lot more than a few hundred dollars a month. Also, some of these dudes crying about child support should shut the fukk up cause as much as they act like they care about their kids, they dont want the responsibility of being a single parent. So it's basically "keep the kid, I'll keep my free time" money..
