Yeah. So?Isn't the Hudson Institute a right-wing think tank?
Right wingers are generally more...keen on the actual threat of foreign events.

yeah that'd be interesting to see, how many of these armchair experts were wrong about russia invading ukraine. you'll usually find those are the ones that are wrong about most everything but have the biggest mouths.Weren't yall saying Russia wouldn't invade Ukraine?
China is learning from everything russia did wrong...but china has to do it over water.I feel we are further from war with China in recent months than before.
The US and China have resumed normal talks with Blinken and Yellen visiting. China has tempered their language recently in regards to the west. They have started to even pull back support of Russia which means they view it as a loser or not as strong an ally as once thought. Also, China economy is hurting at the moment.
This is obviously a result of how things are going for Russia in Ukraine. Once they saw how hard it's been for Russia and how much they have been hurt by it, while they probably aren't giving up eventually taking Taiwan, they probably feel more so now is not the time. It would be too messy. The Ukraine is giving Russia a hell of a time where the US and west is only involved by proxy. Taiwan will most likely cause direct engagement with the US. Taiwan is much more important from the perspective of the US and the world than Ukraine. When they are making over 90% of semi-conductors in the world, no one is looking forward to China having full control of that.
They are still going to work to decouple themselves from the west and become more self-sustaining just as the west in doing so. Once the symbiotic economic ties between the west and China are severe or are weakened enough, maybe we will see war. But, unless China is pulling a major pump fake, their recent actions point to them not looking to kill that relationship yet.
NopeWeren't yall saying Russia wouldn't invade Ukraine?
Yeah, their constant, passive aggressive pro-Russian/Kremlin rhetoric before the invasion and even now really proved thatRepublicans tend to be more on the ball with respect to foreign threats.
War hawks like you are just right wing neolibs who take it up the assNow, I'd rather democrats DEAL with them.
For example, Al Gore wouldn't have invaded Iraq. He'd have dealt with Afghanistan though.

Uh, the democrat president himself was saying russia would invade...Weren't yall saying Russia wouldn't invade Ukraine?
