So with BRICS coming out soon China is prepping for war in case the West reacts badly to BRICS' debut.

We should be surprised by this? How many times has Israel bombed Iran claiming national security? Whether the claim was true or not.

Exactly this is what I’ve been noticing people will reject the message because the sender isn’t who they want it to be.

Propaganda warmongering.

1. A direct hot war between the US and China will never happen for obvious reasons. First being nuclear weapons. Second being the fact that our navies would effectively neutralize each other .

2. China has no oil. War with the US would result in us shutting down outside supply.

3. China has little food supply. They are mass importers and just as with oil, the US would starve them out.

4. China doesn't have the capability to invade Taiwan. It would be the most sophisticated, largest amphibious invasion since D-Day. Given that the Chinese military and navy haven't accomplished anything in decades, why would anyone assume they can pull off something that would even be extremely difficult for the US navy.

China is preparing for a post-US future, where we aren't the dominant superpower. The problem is that covid didn't go the way they likely thought it would go. They assumed that a controlled, nationalized response to covid would result in fewer deaths and less shut downs, followed by a quick recovery. The opposite happened. As of last year, large Chinese cities were still being locked down due to outbreaks. Their vaccine doesn't work either, making this worse. Meanwhile the US has completely recovered from the shut down and the economy is humming at a higher rate than any major country. Not to mention the dollar's continued dominance.

China's best bet on Taiwan is to wait. For assimilation. At some point, whether it takes a decade or two, they believe Taiwan will simply cease existing and its people will open up with welcome arms to the CCP. I don't think that's gonna happen, but I GET it.

Nope :dahell:

Yeah, their constant, passive aggressive pro-Russian/Kremlin rhetoric before the invasion and even now really proved that

Fearmongering over China and North Korea directly attacking the US in a war, yeah, that's gonna happen :mjlol:

War hawks like you are just right wing neolibs who take it up the ass
Where is the fearmongering?

Y’all need a new term to this downplaying of everything.

BRICS ain’t gonna happen. India isn’t on board fully and Russia may not exist in 20 years.

When was last time China experienced real military conflict?

It’s like playing ball alone in the park thinking you’re good but then you go and play against people that have been playing ball for years and you get your ankles and knees broken

I mean look at Russia, they had numerous military conflicts in the past and they still getting their ass kicked by Ukraine with bare minimum outdated from the 80’s U.S weapons

Not saying China doesn’t stand a chance, but they’re definitely not coming out as winners in this
