I know many of a mix person who barely acknowledges their white side..

But you are saying that a half black guy who embraces the more ethnic side, looks black who does black radio, gets checked by a Asian dude because the black guy is half white and the Asian guy is addressing THAT side of the argument?

You really think that, breh?

I too know people who dont acknowledge they white side.
Is perception REALITY? Does that make it right? Are they black now cuz they have slightly darker skin? I also know half black and white people who dont Use the word and never tried to “be white” or “be black”.

I know people who cuz they dad was a quater black they claim black. Latinos who cuz they have a black cousin think they can say it every third word out they mouth and think that gives them a pass above and white people when they paler than cacs.

I think Its trying to be down. Ebro does that shyt all the time so thats why i say that. Why is ebro so staunch on his black stuff when hes half white... Why he saying that? Cuz hes expected to? Cuz of his “black” skin? Insecure? Idk

I do know Ebro helps feed the steriotypes he claims to argue against all the time. Dudes makeup is used as a living weapon. China mac shouldnt be saying it... but so shouldnt ebro. Cuz guys like ebro using it makes everyone more comfortable. Dudes on radio afterall.

Or else ya saying any pure white person who has a baby with a black person... even if they raise that child totally different than a black child, in one generation that kid get the pass to use racial terms against black people and claim black if he feel like it.

I know you aint saying that right.

In either case i dont like either guy so thats why im playing deveils advocate. I think ebro brings more harm than china mac ever will.

I grew up in the Strawberry manors in sac where there was a mix of nikkas, Laotians, hmongs, tongans etc. We all grew up together, played hoop, hustled, shot at nikkas, etc. (not me, them) Growing up in the same hood being exposed to the same shyt created a family aka culture. We all called each other my nikka. In my opinion it's not black and white, and on an even grand'er level, words only take the power we give them.

They both got valid points. I fukk with Mac cause he don't use the n word, but I'm also not one of these guys who thinks only blacks can or should use it. But that shows some awareness and responsibility being that Mac doesn't use it...

If you a non black and you use it, I think you should understand there's a responsibility with your usage--->just because your black friends might be cool with it, doesn't mean everybody black would be. And if you a non black and you use it, i think you should have the awareness that you can't use it all the time, my only problem is that a lot of non blacks use the shyt like it's going outta style...
I don’t understand why anyone not black would want to use it for any reason. So what if a couple of your black friends would be okay with you saying it?

Why would you even want to when you can just use so many other words to use ya know?

Tru but u cant tell these non street internet nerds that. They really think that Tariq Nasheed nonsense works in the streets. Online nerds say one thing the streets say another.

But when you step out of your neighborhood those same rules don't apply.

I'm at the point where I don't even want to use the word anymore. I never said it in front of anyone who wasn't black but too many people are reckless with it in public or in music. I got brothers at my job who throw it around with no regard:snoop:

You're right and that makes sense but someone like China Mac, when told by a black person that they don't want him saying that word, would tell you that you're wrong and explain why instead of just respecting you as a black person who feels uncomfortable when non-blacks are saying it. That warrants an ass whipping.

If everybody around you is okay with it, like you're saying, then that's fine...but as soon as someone expresses to you that they're not okay with it then its just basic respect to refrain from using it in their presence. Theres a reason this chump doesnt use the word in his songs, if it was "just a word" then that wouldn't be the case, so he knows its wrong but still wants to make the case that it's not right that its wrong, lol, sucka shyt.

I feel you 100%. On the road to higher consciousness, we have to understand that we can't control the outside world, we only have control over the inside. Once we fully understand and commit to this concept, it eliminates quick reactions and promotes thought before action. If we reacted to everything people said and did in the outside world we would go insane. Peace comes from controlling within, not controlling whats outside, a.k.a. the simulation.

fax. Anyone here saying they punch any non-black saying nikka is cappin......young people from other races say my nikka all the time. .if you grew up in a big city in diverse schools there was always non-blacks (latinos, samoans, filipinos, etc) who hung around blacks saying it. Usually it was just how you said it.....if the tone was negative then they'd get checked but it if was just some "my nikka" shyt it was whatever. As I get older I dont hear any non-blacks I'm cool with say nikka though....it was mostly a HS/college thing
