I can break this down to a much smaller level. Chicago, the city itself, used to own its own parking meters. Some years back, in exchange for a billion dollar cash injection, our last mayor

sold rights to a private entity, LAZ parking, which is tied some some other corporations, leading if I recall correctly to the UAE. Well, Chicago was charging a dollar or less in most places, with

a bit more in downtown business district. The billion was used to pay off *some* of Chicago's debts.

LAZ parking got all the meters, and has been increasing the price ever since. Chicago foots the bill for the maintenance of the machinesand helps enforce the ticket issuances, though

thats LAZ getting paid off of those as well. Basically a "hero" swoops in, entrenches itself, and makes back the investment a hundred times over. We are stuck with this deal for 75 years. No bullshyt.

The Chinese build the infrastructure...then for maintenence "We can take care of that too, for XXX amount." You basically create a revenue stream that lasts for decades, and groom the population

to accept your presence. Thats not to say China will take anything over, but they will undoubtedly be sure to make sure Africa's economy becomes dependent on China's whims in the future.

If Africa's leaders are interested solely in the comeup, expect them to go in poor and come out rich, while Africans reap the least of the benefits of the projects. They will be token offerings.

All big nations do this to little guys. They fukk with em, and make them Dependant.

If you think they are doing it out the greatness of their hearts you are gullible.. Look how China has taken Americas jobs, they have undercut labor, cheap products, and everything.. They have taken over the islands invested in Jamaica and own coffee the roads now own and island in Jamaica for more production along with other islands and eastern African countries over the past couple of years.. They are out for world domination, the people controlling everything they invest in is them. How many Africans do you really think will run the infrastructure they build I can tell you. None, they send Chinese to run while locals have very little to do and they get richer and richer, do your research before you feed into this, they are taking advantage of poor blacks around the world, even lookin America in your local city and you will see that

Hopefully I will see roads, highways, electric grids,water systems along with other modern developments that the west has.If African Americans were more pro active when it came to pressuring the U.S government in terms of infrastructure development in Africa, China wouldn't have their hands in Africa.

1) is your opinion so low of Africans that you don't think they are capable of maintaining the structures built by the Chinese and their people?

2)I think you are reaching but see no problem with China coming into fix any breakdowns in the infrastructure they built for a fee if Africans are unable to on their own

3)most of the infrastructure and development projects(schools,roads, hospitals, damns,housing,etc) Chinese have implemented benefits the general public

do me a favor...use google and do some research about chinese takeover and investments over the Caribbean and african nations, take a half hour out of your time to do this..people dont invest unless they see opportunity and a return, america owes china trillions of dollars and america is supposed to be the all mighty, do you know what they do to poor countries for easy returns?

do me a favor...use google and do some research about chinese takeover and investments over the Caribbean and african nations, take a half hour out of your time to do this..people dont invest unless they see opportunity and a return, america owes china trillions of dollars and america is supposed to be the all mighty, do you know what they do to poor countries for easy returns?

Why would any nation pledge any billion amount without expecting some kind of Return on their Investment?

The Chinese probably plan on plundering Africa's vast natural resource stores or else getting access to African markets they can control.

The Chinese don't like blacks and look down on Africans. Their government would only do business in Africa if they feel there is some tremendous benefit in doing so. 60 billion is a trip in a bucket for the Chinese, which was the largest economic base on the planet. While I see it as a positive Africa is doing deals to update infrastructure, Africans and those concerned about Africa should be wary of defending China or pretending they don't have ulterior motives. The Chinese are cruel and unforgiving to their own people.
