One good thing I would say though, is the Chinese let Haitians cone in and blended with our society when they lived and leased in the far North side (Labadee) of Haiti. We used to play soccer with them and I would go there and swim as I want. They also allowed us to keep the flag in our island. Although they were leasing it.

Now, those big cruise companies leased the island and completely kicked us out with their US flag up on a tall pole.

In regards to the Chinese investing all over the world, they're taking a playbook from the US after the second world war where we invested money in countries that were destroyed. It helped us become the leading power we are now.

The Chinese do not deal with everyone on the same terms. You negotiate what you can get and the Jamaicans simply did not negotiate well.

Its the difference between say Ethiopia and Zimbabwe in having good/bad deals with China.
