you wouldn't know that posting on thecoliIts crazy how, even with the world being as interconnected as it is, the fact that the majority if humanity is Chinese , and the vast majority is Asian still doesn't quite seem real to me.
Yeah I ponder this a lot.Its crazy how, even with the world being as interconnected as it is, the fact that the majority if humanity is Chinese , and the vast majority is Asian still doesn't quite seem real to me.

People are figuring out ways (somewhat ridiculous, in my opinion) to study harder and your response is... nuke them?We better nuke them while we're still on top.

And yet we don't shoot up schools. A few students killed themselves but they decided to kill just themselves and not a dozen innocent classmates.Americans appreciate their humanity, for the most part. Making kids going to school from 6am to 10pm is inhumane. I dunno how people can tolerate that without shooting up the school, killing teachers and administrators.

Most kids have normal schooldays, its just select hardcore schools with ultra strict grading requirements that make you/indirectly force you to study that long. You also gotta bear in mind that there's 1.7 billy people in China so competition is fierce.
You're not wrong breh. Most American parents not gonna have that. If shattering your mind and sacrificing your humanity is needed to be ahead of the world economy, it is a bad example for mankind.
Korean schools have the same competition. There was a documentary on BBC were Welsh students had an exchange with Korean students and these kids couldn't last a week with Korean students. Waking up at 6 am going to school and having study sessions up to 10. They threw in some PE here and there but the British students testing levels in math were like 2 or 3 grades behind. It's supply and demand , outside of the US which has like 4 000 colleges of different varieties like liberal arts, state schools, technical types many countries typically have lots of state run institutions that look at one data point which is the entrance exam. You're not wrong breh.
I'm not cosigning that shyt at all, just saying that 1. It isn't the norm and 2. It really is you vs dozens of millions of other students in China.
I would never personally wish that kind of pressure on my or any other children. shyt is just counterproductive.
I'm from Asia and studied in England, and i distinctly remember showing looking at the textbooks and was likeKorean schools have the same competition.
