A Chinese take out spot in my area closed 2-ish years ago because the lease ran out but when they were open, business was great even tho the food (as we already know) is bullshyt.

Ofcourse they get help, we had an uncle living here. But he was a taxicab dtiver living in a tiny flat, so its not like our "support" was someone well off. My point is that not everyone who came to America was ballin in their home country. There are plenty of people who were straight from the village.

As a Nigerian, we got the money to start our businesses by pooling money together in the Nigerian-American community. Not always 419 as some people like to put it.
