you darn sure aint going to be playing the crew and any other games that are based on ONLINE components. welcome to 2014..almost 15. where games are all starting to have large portions of their game online. if your net doesnt work. the game doesnt work properly. that old, long story mode with just a disc, just for you is old hat. get with the times.

There is nothing wrong with DRM dummy, people had issue with the 24hr checks
Because you could play any game on your XB1 online or off for 24hrs, then a check to make sure you wasn't abusing the "system"
Most of our systems are on standby and can do auto downloads from each marketplace

They just dont get it.

The moment we got off of Dial up.some of yall are to young to even remember that Fax machine noise the modems use to make to get you on the net. But the moment we left dial up to "high speed" internet DSL, cable, now Fiber. the not always on was over with.

only in an old school dial up system were you not ALWAYS ONLINE. thats because every time you wanted to get on the net, you had to dial up to the internet. now as long as you had an extra phone line that no one used for anything else but the net you could stay online forever, as long as you didnt turn off your computer. if you did, you had to dial back in. if you shared the same phone line as your parents, siblings, roomates. and a call came in. bam :camby: ..it booted you off the internet.

With DSL, CABLE, FIBER internet aka HIGH SPEED internet. IT never goes off. You're always online. Even when you're compute ris turned off. your internet is still on. notice the lights on your modems. the only way you can get off line is to unplug the phone line cable if its uverse or some form of dsl, or unhook the coaxial cable(timewarner/other cable companies). OR unplug your modem or turn it off(if it has an on and off switch). if you aint unplugging stuff and you're not turning it off manually its always on even when your laptop, phone, tablet, console is off. those devices are usually never really off to begin with. they are on STANDBY. this is how a real internet thief can get into your system while you sleep. especially if you have wake on lan setup so you can remotely control things from outside of your home. a thief could turn your computer on and go to work. But with all that being said. we are still on high speed internet. because overall its a much better experience then dial up. the same rule applies for MS and even PS4's DRM they were going to use in the US.

yall dont get it. NBA 2k14 has DRM.. did yall realize this?
destiny is 100% drm. these two games have to be online. now nba2k can be played off line but your saves wont save until it saves to their servers. their are things that save locally on your harddrive and others that save to their servers. like your VC. your myplayer info is partially saved online. thats why if the 2k servers are off line and you cant even load up your my player. that link isnt even available. DRM friends DRM. understand it and get use to it.
