Seems like in practice vick was moving ok last week but he didn't go full speed. Next week is make or break for vick's future & money. IF foles can play to the level he did today against the bucs along with the mounting pressure from the fans & local media kelly will name foles the starter for the year. I wouldn't have a problem with it but I don't see it happening.

That eagles defense is beyond horrible. Glennon looked great against that secondary so imagine what romo will do, if foles plays bad next week & the eagles lose kelly can still save face & put vick in & keep moving. Chip kelly has a huge ego, he wants to win now, forget rebuilding. Vick clearly outplayed foles in camp, and even today you saw the bucs come at foles because he's so immobile & for the most part it worked. Foles just burned them for a couple of big plays.

Vick has to look the mirror & can't be mad. He got his big break in '10 because kolb got a concussion & he parlayed that into a 100mil contract, he underperformed along with a bunch of injuries so now he's at where's he at by not protecting himself & playing smarter. Guys like peyton & brady are 4yrs older than him & at this rate could play 'til they're 40.

In Vick's defense, he hasn't been lights out this season, but he hasn't done anything to lose the job either..
In Nick's defense, yall naysayers are acting as if he didn't have to play behind that O-Line last year.. And all this week it was "Bucs is a top defense this, Bucs is a top defense that, he carved em up, and it still ain't enough!?!?

Call it what it is! Vick isn't going to get any better than what he is right now, and Foles hasn't played enough football for ANYONE to say what he is or isn't!!!

Give the kid his props though.. I saw how hard that Tampa Bay D made it for Brady & Brees earlier this season, & Foles lit em up!

STOP THAT HATE!

You gotta go with Vick they just have to protect him
Vick plays great until he gets hurt, if you noticed, Vick was playing at a very high level this year until he got hurt in that San Diego game

Only reason Matt Barkley slipped to the 4th is because of Lane Kiffin & his Shoulder Injury. Chip already said he sees Barkley as his future QB :rudy:
