Q: How much of our food is genetically engineered?

A: In the United States today a huge proportion of the most commonly grown commodity crops are genetically engineered: 95% of the nation's sugar beets, 94% of the soybeans, 90% of the cotton and 88% of the feed corn, according to the 2011 International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-biotech Applications report.

you don't eat corn or any meat (you know animals eat corn)?

there is nothing inherently wrong with splicing two plants together to make them resistant to droughts, bugs, etc. it's been going on for centuries. people like you have just been blindsided with propaganda.

edit: you mentioned you're transitioning to veganism you don't eat soy milk, soy flour, soy protein, tofu, margarine, salad dressing, bread, crackers?

how about some honesty about their ingredients BEFORE the billions were made

When did they lie? Did they break any laws? Furthermore, are they responsible for your body meeting its nutritional requirements, or should that responsibility lie on the person who owns said body....??
