Semantics.........Crossbreeding is NOT the same as Genetically Modifying. Don't be fooled.
Crossbreeding, what has been done by humans for 10s of thousands of years and nature for 100s of thousands is ORGANIC. You combine organisms that are relatively close and bring them together, to form a new species.
Genetic modifying an orgamism is NOT the same thing. When you are injecting pesticides into the DNA of a plant that is not natural. When you are injecting fish genes into a tomato, or insect genes into carrots, or glow in the dark jelly fish genes into rabbits so they are visible in the dark, that is GMO, and NOT ORGANIC. Our body is NOT designed to eat thoses types of things.
However, your Congress is set to overhaul shiit. They are looking over rules to prevent organic companies from labeling they are non-GMO.
