Aaliyah's sex appeal was natural. She had her own style

Poor thing...

When are some of us Gen X posters going to explain to Gen Z that Aliyah was never top 5 and has been severely overrated by Millennials in death?
You're missing the point with Aaliyah. She would've been worshipped by millennials and gen z the same way if she was still alive

Aaliyah's aesthetic carried an allure of cool and mystery that's rarely attained by any artist, let alone a female. In mine and many other's opinion, Aaliyah is one of the coolest women to walk the face of the earth. That plus the few songs she had is what has propelled her status to what it is now

She's essentially a less prolific Madonna or Rhianna

Trying to be a musician now has to be taxing :picard: I’m trying to imagine how. It would’ve been if the singers I grew up on were treated like these chicks now. People were gassing her up not long ago but now they hate her. Crazy times.
