Oh snap! Braxton a REAL ass Nygga ...

I didn't know who the Fck that name was, but soon as I saw the nygga, OH! Braxton!

I will NEVER put energy into learning this nygga real name, not even gonna lie

Braxton was always with the shyts :wow:

Don't get it twisted, he would have rode on Jamie after the umpteenth oreo joke, but he played it cool

He's a trained theater actor so of course he wouldn't take those roles

but I read jaleel whites book, that man said him and his family went to the waldorf

went to a floor in the elevator, got off and his momma told the bellhop she was tired of seeing elaborate hallways with 500 foot high ceilings and please take her to her room

that bellhop said "this is your room" :ohhh:

It's easy to say that man was selling out but they lined his pockets nicely.

He couldn't do it cause he NOT that great of an actor. It's called RANGE! Lets not act like the two roles he played were great. He was an unconvincing gangsta and the straight man (Pun intended) for Jamie King's comedy

Yupp. The video in the OP is a perfect example of "If he could, he would"

He was a kid, not a grown man. Different mindset. Jaleel even spoke out against the Urkel character, in reflection as a…grown man. Urkel was the stereotypical nerd. He wasn’t c00ning or anything.
This

Braxton was just some hiked-up pants and glasses away from being the same damn character.

They created the character for one episode but Jaleel played him so well that he became the star of the show. That was Jaleels talent, not anyone trying to have any ulterior motives.

Black boys weren’t lining up to be Urkel :mjlol:

But we all loved the character/show. And he calls that c00ning? Playing a black nerd?

I think all the negative shyt we are portrayed as is more c00ning than this. Dude is dead wrong here.

Number 1. Jaleel was a kid. Number 2. Jaleel CREATED the role. They didn't FORCE him to play it or present it to him that way. Jaleel was prolly the GOAT child actor if we speaking on range and character acting.
You ever hear of Leonardo DiCaprio?

Basically

Said all that dumb shyt just because Urkel wasn’t just ANOTHER nikka on TV.

Like that’s all black men got… hood shyt or wearing a dress.

Notice he had nothing against that though.. The first blerd on TV is c00ning but this corny nikka wearing a durag isn’t?

Whole culture ass backwards
