I believe Bron will take slightly more.

Bron 5/110 starting 20
Bosh 5/90 starting 15
Wade 5/80 starting 13
Leaves 15 plus exceptions on free agents..

And those deals should give access to birds right since they 3 years plus..maybe an extra 5 mil in cap or more

Bosh is the single best pick and roll defender in the entire league...his mobility and quickness is an irreplaceable part of what made the heat's defense effective during their current run...and his versatility on offense is the key to the revamped small-ball offense that shot their offensive efficiency into the stratosphere after what was bit of a struggle (relatively speaking) in the first year...he's up there with melo as the most disrespected star players in the league right now...to ask that guy, who has already sacrificed so much already, to take ANOTHER pay cut to upwards of 7, 8 million a year is an ultimate slap in the face..i understand wanting to win, but to me it wouldn't be worth it...you're losing $ and falling victim to this strange phenomenon that magically turns the perception of any player teamed up with lebron into that of some bum ass role player that the king is burdened with carrying...it's not like bosh is getting any kind of credit or "legacy points" whatsoever for winning rings in MIA, he went from being considered the best pf in the league to people acting like he's brandon bass or something in the span of 4 years...he's an elite defender capable of giving you 20plus a game still in his prime and people are scoffing at him asking for more than 1 or 2 mil per year than Gortat :pachaha: ...if somebody like houston were to pry him away from the heat by actually paying him what he's worth, they'll fukk around and win the chip next year (bosh's pnr defense and floor spacing paired with d12 rim protection and harden flop trolling to 20 ft's a game = :lupe:)

You know what would make the Heat D even more effective? Protecting the paint and grabbing rebounds. Things that Bosh is either unwilling or unable to do and things that have plagued the Heat throughout their run. There is no excuse for Bron being the teams leading rebounder, period. As I said in that other thread all this dude Bosh has sacrificed is anonymity, responsibility, and 1st round exits. How is he not getting legacy points when he's a certain HOFer and all I keep hearing about is how he's a superstar worth $15 mil or even the max? He's no scrub or role player and no one with sense has suggested as much. You say he's worth a mil or two more than Gortat...is he really worth within $5mil of Lebron? :usure:

I can't knock dude for getting his money if he gets it but for cats to keep acting like he's some victimized unsung hero here is comical. He's a POWER forward that grabs fewer rebounds than his small forward, can't defend other bigs man to man, can't shut down the paint/deter drives and when shyt goes left ALL the Heat goes on Bron (including responsibility for Bosh's own soft ass play :mjlol:). You can point to a small subset of Bron apologists all you want but there is no denying that by in large most people have said that the Finals is a stain on Bron's record. I haven't seen thread after thread about Bosh ain't this and Bosh ain't that. I haven't heard Bosh's legacy discussed ad naseum here and elsewhere. I haven't seen countless Bosh memes.

The Heat already have a two guys that can give 20+ points and one of them can still provide elite defense at times and I am sure $15 mil can buy some combo of players than can provide quality pick n roll D and 20 pts. Houston was a good call. I think he and Dwight would be a formidable duo. Problem with him on the Heat is that they actually need him to be Dwight. The smart move would honestly be to get rid of Wade but he's entrenched there.

These dudes opted out...:dahellwhat:

To rebuild the team and sign key free agents :dahellwhat:

But by all reports they are signing to contracts for almost the same amount as their old ones :dahellwhat:

Meanwhile players that could help them are flying off the shelf:dahellwhat:

And these dudes haven't even signed their new contracts yet :dahellwhat:

Gonna have to fukk around and sign Oden and Beasely again just to suck up 2 roster spots :dahellwhat:

ya dudes really drinking that cool aid that was reported that players will make extra money by winning and getting endorsement deals. Unless you're a Superstar, you're not making that much money off the court.

:damn: as much as those cliff paul commercials are on TV, I would think CP3 would be getting a lot more endorsement money.

Your right maybe he just signed a bad deal...it's crazy that football is so popular but the average person couldn't actually recognize a majority of football players but they can tell you who tony parker is.

thats the problem with the NFL from the players perspective. the league is team driven, and not star driven so much. this plus the fact that NFL players wear helmets, which hinder their marketability.

The reason the NBA does so well in endorsements (besides it being star driven) is cuz their players wear the least amount of clothing, so you can clearly see/identify their face (no :wrist:), and they only have 10 people on the court at all times. also, in the NBA, fans are closer to the action than they are in NFL, and MLB games for the most part.

that being said, state farm just be paying him chump change. I mean I would think he would have re-upped with brand jordan to get a better contract as well. newly signed cats like jabari parker probably got better jordan deals than cp3, and he has yet to play a game.

I wonder is LeBron demanding MAX money because that will force Wade and Bosh to either take cuts or leave? If he is and one or both leaves, smart man

this is what i'm leaning to as well. it seems like bron wants to force one of them to leave first so that when he leaves, he won't be blamed for breaking up the big 3. as it stands now, if he demands the max and bosh and wade don't take drastic pay cuts, they'll have the same roster they had last year and won't improve any. i think bron wants to leave but doesn't want to make the first move.

very smart moves by lebron so far.

I don't think the Heat have a clue as to how this is going to play out. If Lebron wants the max, that throws a wrench into everything.

I would have never opted out of that guaranteed money if I was Bosh.
