:mjlol: at the randomness though,

and chris brown still catching feelings over it:dead:

We all know who the music equivalent to MJ is,:sas1: hint: they have the same initials :sas2:

That's truly the funny part. He went the fukk off on something that a normal person probably would have at least chuckled at.

I always felt CB's music before the beating was horrible. It was almost as if he was singing in the wrong register. I didn't buy into it. Ironically I started getting into him when he started his Bobby Brown impersonation. I think however the elephant in the room is there was always going to be a cap on what he is perception wise. Honkeys threw him away and never looked back so regardless of what he did he would never be recognized in that light

Only vs ima do is CHRIS BROWN VS CHRIS BREEZY... not in competition with nobody but myself..." he wrote. He added on his Instagram Story, "I could do a vs off features alone… So I’ll humbly decline. I’m busy doing nothing."
Wow, did not realize Chris had this big of an ego. And thinking about it, I wouldn't compare Chris to Usher...I'd say he and Trey were more comparable.

The fact he responded like how an ig thot responds when you ask her who is paying for those Dubai trips is telling.

:russ: I thought the same thing....he responded like a scorned chick.

Ehh idk if that’s an appropriate comparison. Chris Brown did have an ascension and if not for the Rihanna situation may have been bigger but even with that has still seen a lot of success. Maybe Carmelo Anthony is a better comparison. Melo was great but maybe would have been looked upon better if he played for better teams. Or maybe Dwayne Wade who was great early but injuries kind of stagnated him a bit later on but he still had success with the heatles.

Melo is a good comparison; Melo won big early and is prolific.

You know what? Now that I dwell on it...that 2003 draft class was like the ‘04-‘05 R&B class.

LeBron = Trey Songz
Darko = Bobby V
Melo = Chris Brown
Bosh = Mario
DWade = T-Pain

Big Perk = uh, Pretty Ricky

Chris Brown is reheated R. Kelly.

Great singer with no fukking growth as a human being.

And it's sad because even R. Kelly has records where he showed hints of
growth even if it did require going back and essentially mimicking the OG's.
(Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers and so on....)

Are you serious?

How is ‘I Wish’ for example mimicking the ogs, of course the ogs inspired him that’s why his music is so good and he’s such a talented songwriter but Kelly’s had his own styles too.

Faulty comparison

Brown has platinum albums, singles and over ten years of relevence as a top artist in a dead genre.
Brown survived being blackballed and did it with comeback hits like Dueces

Simmons was never the "top" anything and doesnt have the accolades in his respective field that Breezy does in his

Simmons is still early in his career give him another 6-7 years

I always felt there were a couple guys that had next after MJ. First was Usher and he couldnt get it done. Then Breezy....who as you said was rising then pretty much plateaued. mentally he aint want it. that comparison though :dead:

Mj is to hard of a act to follow they were never going to reach that, but usher came far closer with confessions
