There's no real money in music unless you're a string puller or one of the 70 or some mainstream artists across the entire domestic music spectrum that are really eating.

Its such a waste of time and energy I feel bad whenever I see an aspiring artist..ups hiring may actually be a better prospect for most of them.

The tradeoff of is most musicians are a little bit freer in what they do, say, and in general carry themselves. You can be an outright criminal and still have a career. Can't say the same for athletes.

In the post-$17.98 price for a physical CD current period, that is fantastic regular income for a music artist.
