The last time I heard some R&B shyt that sounded different and got my attention was that Doechii chick. Breezy needs to hook up with anybody else to forge some new creative concepts and music. Brandy/Darkchild. Aaliyah/Timbaland/Missy. Hell, anybody else. He needs to experiment with different styles. His music is always the same. No growth at all.

There’s a lane for everyone.. monoculture is pretty much a thing of the past at this point. Music is as versatile and diverse as ever.. soo many subgenres.. different pockets of musical soundscapes.

RnB is massive. Historically older generations were conditioned into consuming only a handful of artists propped up by major musical conglomerates.. RnB is quite nomadic these days and it’s fun to discover. Most consumers are passive listeners and only bite onto bait that’s fed to them.. I go out and hunt my prey lol
