Even 20 years ago, most artists and even rappers never dropped new albums/ new material every year on the regular. maybe a Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, or a DMX, but most artists never done so like that. Since Jay got popular and the internet era forced artists to tour a lot more often to pay the bills for their 360 deal, artists have been working harder than ever before to ear even less. Back then, all you needed is one good album and you can tour 2-3 years off of that before you recorded again and make new material. For get about it now, cause these kids and their ADD attention spans are crazy.

Its true. You never hear of Jay-Z in his prime or Nas during the Stillmatic era suffering from seizures. Making home-cooked music that has replayability and can be performed decades later >>> making music that last for one month and being forced to go to the studio a lot more for another hit. He should learn from K-Dot and J. Cole how to put value in his music and make it last as long as it can.
