For the people in this thread who are defending Cuomo's actions...... you do realize that he's essentially put himself and CNN in the crossfire of a lawsuit from the victims by using their resources on behalf of his brother. They had no other choice but to fire him for that reason.
Don't make this into a
situation as it's certainly not in this instance. Put your employer in the line of fire of a lawsuit and you'll end up fired too.

The optics makes them look awful though as it makes it look like they didn't do an actual investigation and just took him at his word about what he did/didn't do.
