That's crap. The players around him simply were subpar.

Jericho Cotchery allowed Von Miller to hold him downfield.

:ehh:

Yeah.... I knew it was over when Ted Ginn let that bullet go through his hands and the ball ended up getting picked off.....

and then I think Phil Simms had the nerve to say that Cam through it to hard and that's why Ted Ginn was unable to make the catch........

I'm saying, Manning is terrible in the playoffs, nobody attacks his ability to "throw" or understanding the game

every time a black QB loses they question his "ability" to the play the position

after Carson's Palmer terrible performance, nobody questioned his intellect at the QB position or all the other buzzwords they use for black QB's

peyton is not terrible in the playoffs how long u going to keep pushing this narrative

He stats were similar to Cam newton's in the super bowl he won because of the defense

He threw the game ending pick against the saints

He got blown out by the Seahawks lost the game for his team by turning the ball over

passer rating of 47 in that game and the bears game

He's 14-13 in the playoffs for his career, so he had a losing record in the playoffs up until this year where the was just a game manager

that's terrible for an MVP who has a dominate winning record in the regular season consistently

it's not a narrative is a fact, peyton's indy teams had good defenses too unlike the narrative that it was all him

Ehh...........

I can't give them too much credit. Panthers WRs dropped a ton of passes. Cotchery is usually sure-handed and he was even dropping passes. And Von Miller and Ware were on some other shyt.

They dropped some passes, but there were some poorly thrown balls. Cam was not good. No one was on that offense. The whole offense sucked.

he has similar numbers to tom brady in the playoffs he's been to to 4 superbowls he's had plenty of great playoff games more good than bad he's been to 4 superbowls. so he can't be terrible in the playoffs. Broncos as a whole lost that Super Bowl to the seahawks not peyton the center threw the ball over peyote's head the first play in the game for gods sake. Peyton was very good in that chicago Super Bowl if you watched the game instead of looking at the stats. considering it was raining and there were a lot of drops that game he could of easly threw 3tds that game against the number 1 defense that year. Terrible in the playoffs is Dalton not peyton

Peyton was not very good in the chicago game, he just didn't lose the game

he has a loser record in the playoffs until just now, comparing the regular season record to his playoff one is night or day, he's bad in the playoffs record speaks for itself

Dalton hasn't had as much success in regular season compared to peyton so that is just a dumb analogy

he was good in that Super Bowl he could padded his stats and threw it in goaline instead of running with addai and rhodes. and wins loss record for qbs is a stupid stat those are team stats not individual stats. even then only Brady and Montana has more playoff wins than peyton

So the playoff games when he threw 6 td's, the great game he had in the afc title game against 2 years ago against the pats don't count? The great comeback he made he had against the pats in the afc title game against the pats to get too his first Super Bowl?

That first Super Bowl was a downpour he played conservatively like he should have.

Plus outside of Montana all great qb's have had some bad games in the Super Bowl

A lot of reasons why Broncos won.

That defense was on Cam and 'ems azz. His receivers dropped balls. Cam overthrew a lot of passes probably due to that intense pass rush and pressure. The Broncos effective run defense. The Panthers OC DID NOT make adjustments to deal with Ware and Miller. Poor game plan for the #1 defense. That Broncos defense is too good and

All Peyton had to do was not fuk up too much.

Good point from poster who made comment about media and fans going in on black QBs but when white QBs like Palmer fuk up in a big game like NFC championship game and they never question their ability or intellect. That white privilege is real.

Would this game been different if Kelvin Benjamin was on the field?
I think so IMO to me this was the game where the absence of Benji was really felt. It just so happened to be the Super Bowl of all damn games

Carolina's WR's were food against Denver's secondary. After Corey Brown went down it was a wrap then. They could've used KB badly definitely
