IIRC, the Clippers didn't boycott during the playoffs, because Silver made his decision pretty quickly to get rid of Sterling. The reason, CP3 & Doc are having a issue again NOW, is the fact that their is a high possibility that the sale of the Clippers can be overturned, thus making D.Sterling the owner again.

They weren't boycotting period regardless of how Silver responded back then. Silver was still protecting one of his Jewish owners and tried to deceive the media about how the process was going. They should have taken a stand ASAP during the playoffs.
