Even though I hate all the dribble dribble shyt CP3 be on I'd definitely take him. Way better defensively, he's shown that he can take over the game with his scoring when needed and had a better handle on punishing the defense when he wasn't getting enough attention. Easy choice of CP3 to me.

Paul imo could lead any team you put him on to success where as Nash needs to be surrounded with the right talent to succeed

All of that dribble dribble shyt with Chris is irrelevant in this situation lol because Steve Nash did the exact same shyt.

Nash was not a over dribbler breh he found guys early in the shot clock.
Nah breh. Nash was as ball dominant as any player in history. His Phoenix teams just simply played faster. The same way Rondo and Paul get accused of controlling the ball and only passing when their teammates have pretty much only the option to shoot as opposed to making their own plays, Nash did the same shyt. The pace was simply sped up.

He's an elite point guard of course he's gonna have the ball in his hand. How do you over dribble when your getting rid of the ball early in the shot clock. The problem with CP3 is he dribbles the ball for 20 seconds until he makes the play cuz he doesn't trust his teammates. Nash would pass on the first open guy he saw and if the defense ran out to him the guy would swing the ball aka a real offense. All CP3 wants to do is probe for 20 seconds big difference breh. CP3 is the better defender by far but defense for a point guard doesn't mean y'all win unless you have good overall team defense as well.

Nah bruh. Nash ran the second 7 second or less offense with D’Antoni, they were always top in pace which means they got the most possessions per game. Rondo in his career has only twice l had a top team in pace. CP3 only once had a top 15 pace ranking. His teams were usually at the bottom interns of pace. There’s a correlation between pg overdribbling and pacing.

Nash and CP3 were not the same type of pgs
