Is there a sexual abuse problem in Hollywood? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.
Will some people use this as means to get money out of celebrities? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt.


Proper investigation is whats supposed to sift the BS out of the muck of lawsuits. The problem is we lack the resources for proper investigation, there's something like 200k untested rape kits in Detroit ALONE. I can't imagine what that's like for other much larger cities.

That simple evidence could be convicting actual rapists and exonerating people who were falsely accused and even convicted.
